Candidates should have 1-2 years in commercial refrigeration or boiler operation, basic math and English proficiency, and the ability to work varying shifts and weekends.

Formación

• 1-2 years in commercial refrigeration environment/boiler operation
• Able to read, write and speak English
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages
• Ability to pass a Prove It test
• Working knowledge of NH3 refrigeration principles and plant systems
• Ability to read schematics
• Ability to pass hazmat tests and perform hazmat & confined space tasks
• Mechanical ability to analyze production machinery and repair
• Willing to work weekends and various shifts
• Able to work with minimal supervision

Responsabilidades

• Installs new equipment, repairs and modifies refrigeration/HVAC and boiler equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment and records information.
• Trains other maintenance mechanics in ammonia refrigeration/HVAC/Boiler operations.
• Possesses ability to obtain state licensure if mandated.
• Assists other maintenance mechanics as needed.
• Works with limited supervision and provides feedback to Supervisors on maintenance concerns.
• Switches from nights to days monthly.
