JBS Foods in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Refrigeration and Boiler Technician to install, repair, and modify commercial refrigeration/HVAC and boiler equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, rebuild compressors and boilers as needed, and document activities.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration or HVAC, read and understand English, and be capable of obtaining state licensing. This 4-on/4-off shift runs from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Formación

• 1–2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration and boiler operation.
• Must read, speak and understand English sufficiently to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Working knowledge of NH3 refrigeration principles and plant systems.
• Must be able to pass PFT Spirometry test.

Responsabilidades

Description

Job Title: Refrigeration and Boiler Tech

Location: Green Bay

Reporting to: B&E Supervisor

Pay Range: $30.95- $36.45

Essential Job Functions

• Installs new equipment, repairs and modifies existing refrigeration/HVAC and boiler equipment
• Performs necessary preventative maintenance on all equipment up to and including rebuilding compressors and boilers as needed and records necessary information
• Trains other maintenance mechanics in ammonia refrigeration/HVAC/Boiler operations.
• Possess the ability and willingness to be state licensed
• Ability to work with limited supervision and provides feedback to Supervisors on maintenance concerns
• Ability to work 4 days on 4 days off with a monthly 7:00am to 7:00pm rotation.

Experience Required

• 1-2 years in commercial refrigeration environment/boiler operation, relevant HVAC experience and/or accredited education preferred
• Must be able to read, speak and understand English sufficiently to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Working knowledge of NH3 refrigeration principles and understanding of plant refrigeration systems, electric and mechanical procedures or relevant HVAC experience
• Must be able to pass PFT Spirometry test

• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentage calculations
• Ability to read and understand schematics
• Mechanical ability to analyze production machinery and their function and repair
