Job summary

JBS Foods in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Refrigeration and Boiler Technician to install, repair, and modify commercial refrigeration/HVAC and boiler equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, rebuild compressors and boilers as needed, and document activities.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration or HVAC, read and understand English, and be capable of obtaining state licensing. This 4-on/4-off shift runs from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration and boiler operation.
• Must read, speak and understand English sufficiently to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Working knowledge of NH3 refrigeration principles and plant systems.
• Must be able to pass PFT Spirometry test.

Responsibilities

• Installs, repairs and modifies refrigeration/HVAC and boiler equipment.
• Performs preventative maintenance and records necessary information.
• Trains others in ammonia refrigeration/HVAC/Boiler operations.
• State license eligibility required.
• Work with limited supervision and report maintenance concerns.
• Work 4 days on, 4 days off with 7:00am–7:00pm monthly rotation.
