Green Metals in Princeton, NJ, seeks a Waste & EMS Coordinator to manage the removal and disposal of waste and recyclables, while protecting the environment and reducing pollution from manufacturing activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One to three months of related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Follow standardized work instructions for safe removal and disposal of waste or recyclables from the facility.
• Lead team members in following waste disposal instructions safely.
• Clean work area according to 5S standards.
• Lead or participate in team meetings and Kaizen activities.

Summary

Handles of scrap, recyclable, non-hazardous, and hazardous waste generated from the process of building automobiles. The responsibilities of this position include contributing to Environmental Management System (EMS) performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in the protection of the environment and reduction of pollution from activities within the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Following standardized work instructions as related to the removal and disposal of waste or recyclables from manufacturing facility in a safe manner.


• Leads Team Members in following standardized work instructions as related to the removal and disposal of waste or recyclables from manufacturing facilities in a safe manner.


• Cleans work area according to 5S standards.


• Leads and/or participate in team meetings and trainings Participates in Kaizen activities.

What You Need

• High School Diploma or GED


• One to three months of related experience or training.

Shift Time

• 7:15PM-4:00AM

Pay

• $19.50 with 5% premiums for Team Leader pay and shift
