Job summary

Green Metals is seeking a dedicated supervisor to manage a team responsible for the processing of scrap, recyclables, and waste generated in automotive manufacturing activities. The role supports EMS performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous environmental improvement to reduce pollution.

The position emphasizes adherence to safety, 5S, and Kaizen practices while contributing to documentation and procedural improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of management experience, preferably in Warehouse/Automotive Manufacturing.
• Experience supervising teams in a production or industrial environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise team members following standardized work instructions for waste/recyclables removal and disposal.
• Oversee cleaning of work areas according to 5S standards.
• Ensure monthly safety KPIs and other reports are completed.
• Lead and participate in team meetings and trainings.
• Participate in Kaizen activities to drive process improvements.
• Assist in creating operational procedures/instructions and other documentation.

Summary

Responsible for supervision of and performance of the Team related to processing scrap, recyclable, non-hazardous, and hazardous waste generated from the process of building automobiles. The responsibilities of this position also include contributing to Environmental Management System (EMS) performance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in the protection of the environment and reduction of pollution from the activities within the organization.

What You’ll Do
