Job summary

ARCO Companies in Chicago seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead industrial racking, material handling, and automation projects from design to completion. You will own project performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability while coordinating with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial project management or engineering design, familiarity with cold storage and manufacturing facilities, and proficiency in MS Office/Project.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction project management or engineering design experience specific to industrial racking and/or automation systems.
• Experience with Cold Storage, Manufacturing, Food Production, and/or Distribution facilities preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all managerial and administrative aspects of industrial racking, material handling, and/or automation system projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Identify and grow new racking or material handling system projects via ARCO's networks.
• Collaborate with clients and design team to capture facility requirements and develop budgets and drawings.
• Participate in client meetings to review scope, discuss value engineering, and negotiate contracts.
• Oversee subcontractor scopes, schedules, and site logistics plans.
• Manage project schedule to meet commitments and track performance vs. budget.
• Ensure safety and quality while delivering a positive experience for clients and partners.
