Job summary

McGough Group is seeking a Quality Control Manager for industrial projects in Minnesota. The role leads QC processes, audits, and field verification across multiple sites with significant travel responsibilities.

The position requires a senior level of expertise with 10+ years in construction QC, familiarity with ASME/NBIC/AISC/AWS codes, and effective leadership. A robust benefits package accompanies the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of quality experience in construction.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team.
• Knowledge of ASME, NBIC, AISC and AWS codes and standards.
• Knowledge of NDE methods: MT, PT, UT, RT.
• Experience with construction-related software and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Control process for industrial projects.
• Verify QA/QC work is implemented by project teams.
• Audit subcontractor quality control programs and site drawings/specs.
• Observe site testing and investigations in place.
• Develop and maintain quality requirements to align with codes and specs.
• Manage the quality audit process and training.
