Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions in Meridian, MS seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead development and maintenance of quality standards, ensuring products and services meet specifications and regulatory standards such as OSHA and DOT. Qualifications

3–5 years in quality control or QA in heavy industrial sectors (manufacturing, logistics, construction).
OSHA standards, load securement practices, and material handling experience.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems (QMS).
Knowledge of rigging and crating standards and packaging techniques.
Strong inspection methods, defect tracking, root cause analysis, and CAPA skills.
Proficient with QC tools such as checklists, control charts, and measurement devices.
Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP/QMS software.

Responsibilities

Enforce quality control procedures to ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.
Inspect, test, and audit to identify defects and areas for improvement.
Analyze data for trends and root causes; drive process optimization.
Ensure equipment meets OSHA/DOT requirements and standards.
Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality requirements and resolve issues.
Monitor customer feedback and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain records and generate quality performance reports for management.
Coordinate with DOT, Safety, and Operations to support continuous improvement.
