Hutton is seeking an Industrial QA/QC Specialist to oversee quality assurance and control from preconstruction through project closeout in Wichita. You will verify that work, materials, equipment, and documentation meet contract documents, requirements, manufacturer recommendations, testing, and Hutton standards.

You will lead QA/QC activities with PMs, superintendents, engineers, designers, clients, and trade partners, coordinate corrective actions, maintain records, and mentor field teams

Formación

• Bachelor's or associate degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
• Five+ years of construction site leadership or equivalent.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) (if listed)

Responsabilidades

• Perform QA/QC inspections throughout construction to verify compliance with drawings, specs, codes, manufacturer requirements, and project requirements.
• Review certifications, inspection reports, and testing records for conformity.
• Lead QA/QC during preconstruction, including meetings, drawings/spec review, risk identification, and inspection/testing requirements.
• Identify and communicate quality deficiencies, coordinate corrective actions, and verify closure.
• Maintain organized QA/QC documentation: reports, photos, records, and closeout docs.
• Provide field coaching on quality expectations, construction practices, and documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
• Assist in developing and updating QA/QC procedures and lessons learned.
