Job summary

Green Tanner Industrial Construction is seeking aQA/QC Superintendent to lead field quality assurance and control programs, ensuring all work meets contract requirements, codes, and customer expectations.

You will develop inspection plans, supervise quality personnel, and maintain records of testing, inspections, and corrective actions for compliance and continual improvement. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction experience with at least 3 years in QA/QC leadership.
• Experience in electrical, heavy industrial, or mission-critical environments preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of quality management systems, including ISO 9001 principles and NCR workflows.
• Familiarity with local and national codes and standards (ICC, NFPA, NEC, ASTM).
• Procore Quality tools and other digital inspection/reporting systems proficiency.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.
• OSHA 30 in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project-specific Quality Control Plan aligned with contract documents and GTI's QA/QC program.
• Plan and perform inspections of work in progress and completed installations for compliance with drawings, specs, and codes.
• Coordinate third-party testing, special inspections, and material verification per project schedules.
• Document all inspection results, observations, and corrective actions in Procore.
• Review and close Procore Observations with root cause analysis and follow-up verification.
• Support commissioning and turnover activities, including test documentation and as-built updates.
• Facilitate QA/QC meetings and communicate quality expectations to project teams and subcontractors.
• Promote continuous improvement and preventive action through data review and lessons-learned feedback.
