Job summary

CMC invites interns to learn the steel, construction reinforcement and ground stabilization industries through hands-on projects across our facilities. You'll be mentored by industry professionals and gain exposure to multiple departments, giving you a broad view of our business from day one.

Qualifications

Interest in Industrial Engineering Technologies while enrolled in a related program.
Ability to work 40 hours/week during summer (June-August).
Willingness to learn and take initiative with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Cross-train through departments to learn hands-on industrial/engineering skills.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
Collaborate with team on improvement initiatives and projects.
Execute special projects including analysis and continuous improvement recommendations.
