Job summary

Mosherflo Pumps, LLC. is seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic for a full-time, on-site role in Dickinson, TX.

You will inspect, diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble industrial pumps, ensuring alignment and testing in line with manufacturer specifications and company standards. You will work closely with the shop team to meet production schedules while maintaining safety and quality in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with industrial pump repair, assembly, and disassembly, preferably with ANSI and self-priming pumps.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, OEM manuals, and repair specifications.
Understanding of industrial safety practices, including lockout/tagout, PPE use.
Basic knowledge of rotating equipment principles, seals, bearings, and couplings.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
On-site shop work environment; ability to lift and move moderate to heavy components.

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, disassemble, repair, and reassemble various industrial pumps.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and replace worn or damaged components.
Perform alignment and testing, document work for quality and traceability.
Coordinate with shop team to meet production and delivery schedules.
Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
Interact with supervisors and possibly customers to clarify technical issues.
