Job summary

Rain for Rent is seeking a Mechanic C to repair and maintain diesel and gasoline industrial and submersible pumps. The role involves learning SOPs, performing engine service tasks, and ensuring safe operation of tools.

The team supports major liquid handling projects across multiple locations and emphasizes safety and customer service. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of mechanic experience.
• Ability to perform engine services including oil changes and filter changes.
• Grease bearings on pumps and wheel bearings.
• Read, comprehend and apply information from parts diagrams, owner’s and instruction manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic inspections while learning SOPs.
• Inspect, test pumps using specifications.
• Assemble and secure pipes, fittings, and related equipment per specs.
• Receive, inspect and stock needed products: oil filters, air filters, pumps, hoses, and tools.
• Complete paperwork/electronic documents as required by management.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
