Job summary

Rain for Rent in Riverside, CA is seeking a Mechanic C to inspect, maintain and repair diesel and gasoline pumps. You will support on-site operations, perform engine services, grease bearings, and read parts diagrams to ensure reliability for customers.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of mechanic experience and a solid safety mindset. The role includes a flexible schedule, on-call rotation, and opportunities to grow with a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or better.
• 1-2 years: Mechanic Experience.
• 1-2 years: and one-year trade school or equivalent training maintaining industrial, mud, vacuum, or submersible pumps.

Responsibilities

• Perform engine services including oil changes and filter changes including fuel filters.
• Grease bearings on pumps and wheel bearings.
• Read and apply information from parts diagrams, manuals, and instructions.
• Inspect, test pumps using specified parameters.
• Complete paperwork/electronic documents as required by management.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
