Job summary

Rain for Rent in California is hiring a Mechanic C to inspect, repair, and maintain diesel and gasoline pumps across our industrial fleet. You will represent the company and support customer relations while learning our SOPs.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of mechanic experience
• Ability to learn Rain for Rent SOPs
• Must be safety‑oriented and customer service focused

Responsibilities

• Perform basic inspections while learning SOPs
• Service engines with oil and filter changes
• Grease pump and wheel bearings as needed
• Operate portable and stationary power tools safely
• Read and apply information from parts diagrams
• Inspect and test pumps against specifications
• Complete paperwork as required
• Participate in on-call rotation
• Perform other duties as assigned
