Job summary

Rain for Rent in Geismar, LA is seeking a Mechanic-A to repair and maintain diesel and gasoline industrial and submersible pumps. 3–5 years of mechanic experience and the ability to demonstrate duties of a Mechanic B are required.

The role involves diagnosing repairs, rebuilding pumps, and working with instrumentation and control panels. You will handle submersible and AODD pump systems, order parts, and support on-call rotations while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of mechanic experience.
• Experience with diesel and gasoline pumps.
• Ability to demonstrate duties of Mechanic B.
• Able to perform rebuilds and diagnose repairs.
• Driver License required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose repairs and perform rebuilds on pumps.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and control panels.
• Work with submersible and AODD pump systems.
• Know where to obtain repair parts locally or from warehouse.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
