Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking an Industrial Projects Construction Supervisor to lead construction and maintenance initiatives across facilities supporting manufacturing, distribution, and warehousing. You will oversee capital and maintenance projects, select vendors, and monitor KPIs to ensure high-quality, cost-effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• At least three years of industrial/construction experience.
• Basic knowledge of Word and Excel.
• Basic knowledge of SAP.
• Willing to obtain ADA/Hazwoper certs.
• Knowledge of HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, and Roofing systems.
• Willing to travel and work nights, overnights, weekends, holidays, and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Supervising construction activities for industrial projects.
• Input for the Annual Building Maintenance Budget.
• Overseeing Special Projects and Capital Expenditure Projects as requested by warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, and support facilities.
• Overseeing maintenance and repairs of buildings, parking lots, grounds, docks, roofing, doors, elevators, floors, lighting, CSX Railroad, water towers, refrigeration and utilities.
• Selecting new contractors or vendors and evaluating quality, value, and cost-effectiveness.
• Creating budgets for projects, maintaining project records, and monitoring KPIs.
