Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) seeks a Project Manager with proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams on manufacturing, industrial and facility projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk to ensure client satisfaction.

As a key PEC representative, you will develop proposals, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and ensure quality control while maintaining strong client relationships and accountability.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Minimum two years’ experience as a discipline lead.
• Minimum two years’ experience in Project Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years’ experience in Engineering Design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make business decisions on projects from opportunity through project completion with minimal guidance or oversight.
• Anticipate and productively resolve discrepancies between client expectations and contracted scope.
• Manage project scope, cost, and schedule for the planning, execution, and delivery of projects on-time and within budget.
• Lead project teams throughout pre-contract phase; develop fee proposals and, when needed, establish budgets.
• Assemble the project team with the approval of each team member’s supervisor.
• Manage the flow of project work for all disciplines and the application of resources.
• Provide direction to project team to keep them on schedule and updated timelines.
• Ensure Quality Control processes are followed, performed, and documented.
• Identify risks and communicate mitigation strategies to clients and teams.
• Lead forecasting estimates and monitor work progress.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to accomplish project goals.
• Represent PEC professionally and maintain client relationships.
