Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Project Manager to support industrial projects with training at a branch and potential remote work after onboarding. The role involves coordinating with customers, vendors, and owners to ensure on-time delivery and to manage schedules across multiple projects.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in industrial project management or inside sales, excellent communication, and strong Excel/PDF skills, with a detail-oriented and collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience in Industrial Inside Sales or Project Management (3–5 years preferred).
• Attention to detail and focus on quality output.
• Knowledge of PVF materials and processes.
• Ability to interpret, analyze and evaluate commercial and technical specifications.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PDF software.
• Strong organizational skills; able to coordinate several major activities simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; customer-service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage key customer accounts from inquiry to award date through project closeout.
• Collaborate with customer, vendors, contractors, and owners to ensure on time delivery.
• Develop and manage multiple project schedules.
• Monitor progress of overall construction activities.
• Lead calls with management to review job site issues, work schedules, sub-contractor issues and documentation.
• Organize and schedule regular vendor meetings with updates on deliveries and timelines.
• Organize and schedule regular customer updates on all aspects of the project.
• Review and approve changes by customers or vendors and update schedules accordingly.
