Job summary

Trueline Talent’s client, a rapidly growing private industrial real estate investment firm, seeks a Construction Project Manager to join their Milwaukee headquarters. You will act as the Owner's Representative, managing redevelopment and capital projects from acquisition through completion, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and leadership.

3–7 years in commercial/industrial construction, ability to manage multiple projects, travel ~25%, and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of construction project management experience.
• Background in commercial, industrial, or related construction.
• Experience managing multiple active projects at the same time.
• Ability to work directly with general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, documentation, and field issues.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions in a fast-moving environment.
• High energy, initiative, and personal accountability.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
• Ability to work onsite at the Milwaukee headquarters.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple industrial redevelopment and capital improvement projects across a national property portfolio.
• Represent the owner throughout planning, procurement, construction, and project closeout.
• Develop project scopes, bid packages, budgets, and preliminary schedules.
• Solicit proposals from contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
• Review bids, evaluate scope coverage, and negotiate pricing.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, environmental consultants, contractors, and property stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and supporting documentation.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, safety, and schedule performance.
• Track project milestones and provide updates to executive leadership.
• Resolve field conditions, scope gaps, construction conflicts, and schedule issues.
• Review change orders, contractor invoices, pay applications, and project costs.
• Support projects involving tenant improvements, roofing, structural repairs, MEP systems, demolition, civil work, environmental remediation, loading docks, and adaptive reuse.
