Job summary

Trueline's Milwaukee-based client seeks a Roofing Project Manager to lead a nationwide roofing program across hundreds of industrial buildings. The role oversees contractor onboarding, bid management, material procurement, and roof asset planning with travel to multiple states as needed.

You will drive budgets, inventories, and capital planning while coordinating with ownership and internal teams. This is a high-visibility, in-office role offering growth within a large industrial real estate

Qualifications

3–7 years of relevant construction or capital improvement experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
Ability to work in-office in Milwaukee five days per week.

Responsibilities

Source, vet, and onboard roofing contractors nationwide; build and maintain a bid-ready contractor bench.
Solicit, level, and award bids across all scopes (new, overlay/re-cover, repair, fluid-applied coatings).
Prequalify contractors — licensing, insurance/COI tracking, bonding, safety record, and manufacturer certifications.
Manage subcontracts, change orders, lien waivers, and pay applications.
Prioritize and coordinate crew deployment across the portfolio to balance urgency, weather, and cost.
