Job summary

The State Group, including Herbst Electric based in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a Project Manager/Estimator to handle quotations, estimates, and project execution for industrial electrical and related services. The role emphasizes field collaboration, client interfacing, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in project management within industrial construction, an engineering or construction management background, and OSHA training, with proficiency

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in industrial construction or a related internship.
• Prefer a two-year degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Industrial electrical experience and familiarity with estimating software and ERP purchasing.
• OSHA Construction Training and strong MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates and handle incoming requests for quotations and information.
• Spend majority of time in estimating and field work.
• Manage administrative and direct labor tasks while overseeing projects.
• Interface with clients and contractors during pre- and post-tender activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and adhere to company procedures.
