Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Industrial Project Manager to lead and manage direct hire power and heavy industrial projects. This role focuses on overall project planning, execution, and coordination, requiring a seasoned professional with extensive field and office management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution for industrial and power projects.
  • Oversee direct hire craft crews, subcontractors, and vendors, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
  • Manage project procurement, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and material tracking.
  • Collaborate with engineers, clients, and senior management to resolve field issues.
  • Monitor project performance metrics, budget compliance, and progress reporting.
  • Conduct field inspections and ensure adherence to project specifications, drawings, and vendor documentation.
  • Prepare project reports, status updates, and documentation for client and internal review.
  • Mentor and support project staff, fostering leadership within field teams.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Heavy Industrial Construction Experience, including:
  • Combined Cycle Fossil projects
  • Air-Cooled Condenser (ACC) systems
  • Proven experience managing direct hire craft projects (not CM firms).
  • Willingness to work full-time at project locations – no hybrid or remote schedules.
  • 7–15+ years of project management experience in industrial or power construction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project scheduling software, and construction documentation.
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and vendor documents.
