Project Manager

Location: Remote | USA

Reports To: Chief of Staff - Operations

Industry: Solid Surfaces (Quartz, Natural Stone, Porcelain)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a high-performing and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead and coordinate a wide range of critical company initiatives across logistics, operations, and infrastructure. This role will manage both physical projects (such as new showroom launches and distribution center builds) and complex non-construction programs involving cross-functional planning, nationwide rollouts, and multi-department execution. The ideal candidate excels at bringing structure to ambiguity, aligning stakeholders, and delivering results on time and within budget.

Lead Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning and execution of major projects, including new facility openings, showroom development, logistics system overhauls, and operational process rollouts.
  • Drive complex, multi-phase programs involving cross-functional coordination between operations, logistics, marketing, IT, sales, and finance.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets; manage vendor selection, contract execution, and timeline accountability.
  • Track milestones, identify risks, resolve issues, and provide clear updates to executive leadership.
  • Execute strategic initiatives such as national inventory process changes, ERP implementation, or multi-region sample kit programs.
  • Facilitate alignment between internal teams and external partners (vendors, contractors, consultants).
  • Maintain project documentation, reporting, and dashboards to ensure transparency and progress tracking.
  • Ensure that all projects meet brand, quality, and operational standards across all markets.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Operations, or related field.
  • Proven success managing both construction-related projects and non-construction operational programs.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple high-priority initiatives.
  • Strong budgeting, vendor management, and scheduling experience.
  • TRAVEL - 25%+

Preferred Attributes:

  • PMP, Six Sigma, or related certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, logistics tools, and project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project).
  • Experience in national-scale rollouts, facility expansions, or operational change management.
  • Outstanding communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Background in solid surfaces, building materials, distribution, or multi-site operations is a plus.
