Job summary

NES Fircroft is partnering with a General Contractor to hire a Project Executive for the Greater Chicago area. The role leads complex industrial projects from preconstruction to completion, mentoring project teams and driving safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in industrial construction and a strong network with owners and developers in the Midwest. The position focuses on expanding the company’s industrial footprint and growing strategic client

Qualifications

10+ years of industrial construction experience (big box warehouse, distribution, manufacturing).
Current or recent experience as Project Executive, Senior Project Manager, or Project Director.
Established relationships with industrial owners, developers, and decision-makers.
Strong financial and operational acumen.
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship‑building skills.

Responsibilities

Provide executive oversight of complex industrial projects from preconstruction through completion.
Lead and mentor project managers, superintendents, and project teams.
Drive project financial performance, schedule, quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
Maintain and expand relationships with owners, developers, and other key stakeholders.
Bring a strong network of industrial clients and opportunities to the company.
Expand the industrial footprint through project leadership and strategic client development.
Partner with senior leadership on continued growth of the Industrial business.
