Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor of Science in engineering or construction related field desirable; Master’s preferred.
• Knowledge of construction industry and contract documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collect historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future projects.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Prepare estimates used by management for planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
• Analyze blueprints and documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Coordinate with Engineering Department and staff for take-offs and pricing changes.
