Zusammenfassung

The Weitz Company is seeking a Project Engineer to join its Industrial team. Initial assignment is in Hastings, Nebraska, with travel as needed. The role handles preconstruction, planning, buyout, management, and closeout, reporting to the Project Manager and possibly supervising site personnel.

We are a long-standing contractor focused on growth and inclusive culture. The ideal candidate has a related degree and 2+ years of PM experience, with a willingness to travel.

Qualifikationen

• Industry-related degree required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of construction project management experience preferred.
• LEAN principles desirable.
• OSHA 30 preferred, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Industrial construction experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Organize, review, update, maintain, and post construction documents/drawings.
• Collaborate with project team to complete RFIs.
• Review submittals for accuracy against plans and specifications.
• Assist in inspections, compliance audits, and non-conformance log.
• Manage material and equipment delivery status.
• Maintain and distribute accurate project logs.
• Draft scopes of work for subcontracts and/or purchase orders.
• Track subcontractor change requests and draft change orders.
• Utilize virtual design tools to aid project coordination.
• Obtain and manage closeout information, gather punch list items, assist with warranty.
• Travel and/or relocate to assignments as needed.
