Job summary

InServ is seeking a Project Engineer to join our industrial construction team in the Southeast. You will review drawings and specs, identify constructability issues, and help drive project planning and execution while coordinating with PMs, field teams, and vendors.

You will develop practical solutions, manage documentation, and support turnover and closeout, with growing responsibilities as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• At least 2+ years in industrial construction, engineering, or project coordination.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, contracts, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, contracts, and project requirements for accuracy.
• Identify technical and constructability issues and help develop solutions.
• Support project planning, methods, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, engineers, subs, and vendors.
• Prepare material takeoffs, procurement docs, and submittals.
