Job summary

Kiewit Industrial District is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee multiple industrial construction projects from planning through execution. You will monitor contract plans, field operations, scheduling, and cost forecasting while leading project teams to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5-10+ years of experience in construction or engineering.
• Ability to read, analyze, and identify discrepancies in engineering plans, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the project master schedule using appropriate techniques and scheduling software.
• Collaborate with project management personnel to gather input and ensure schedule accuracy.
• Manage document control processes including logging and tracking new issue drawings and contract documents.
• Review new issue drawings for changes in conditions; quantify impacts and communicate with supervisor.
• Prepare monthly cost projections using data from project management systems.
