Can you switch from a floor walk to a cross-functional huddle and then into hands-on troubleshooting - without losing sight of safety, quality, and KPIs? If so, read on.

Your mission
  • Own the plan: convert production requirements into assignments that align to VWI and current job procedures.
  • Keep the signal strong: communicate across levels, partner with previous/next shifts, and sync with cross-functional teams.
  • Protect the product: react to abnormalities fast, manage process quality, and verify fixes.
  • Close the gaps: build and track countermeasures for DT, quality, KPI attainment, and safety.
  • Grow capability: ensure adequate training, coach performance, and keep documentation accurate and updated.
  • Adapt and deliver: take on other duties or projects as assigned to meet business needs.
How you’ll lead

You set a clear vision, challenge the status quo thoughtfully, and engage people as the engine of progress. You communicate proactively, make timely decisions grounded in data, and align diverse viewpoints toward common goals. You drive results, model a growth mindset, earn trust through humility and credibility, and address tough issues with courage.

Team leadership and accountability
  • Hold associates to safety, quality, and conduct standards.
  • Verify work is performed per VWI and procedures; intervene when it’s not.
  • Recommend and provide training to close performance gaps.
  • Coach, develop, and participate in counseling to elevate team performance.
What you bring
  • Leadership background with formal problem-solving experience.
  • Clear, effective communication; collaborative and improvement-minded.
  • Comfort with robotics/automation (preferred), plus continuous improvement participation.
  • Manufacturing environment experience; High School diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
  • Hands-on capabilities: soldering; warehouse and packaging experience.
Physical capability
  • Stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers, climb stairs, and reach with arms and hands.
  • Lift and move 10-30 lbs on a periodic basis.
  • Vision: close, color, peripheral, distance, depth perception, and focus for product examination.
  • Ability to travel by car or air.
Decision authority
  • Lead and participate in corrective actions when needed.
  • Work with the Supervisor to determine team member placement.
  • Stop production if safety or quality issues arise.
  • Request process changes - with prior approval - covering equipment, software, and more.

  • Safety Glass and Tempered Glass
  • Pallet Jack and Palletizer
