Vesuvius USA is seeking a Group Leader to oversee daily operations of production, quality, paperwork and maintenance on the shop floor. The role directs hourly personnel and ensures safety and adherence to procedures.

Purpose: The Group Leader is responsible for the daily operation of all production, quality, paperwork, and maintenance in the Manufacturing, Quality, and Warehouse areas. This person has the responsibility to direct employees by using experience and knowledge of production methods, processes, equipment, safe practices, and total quality to achieve continuous improvements. This person will support Quality coverage on shift by assisting in process analysis, dispositioning materials and products, control non-conforming, improve process quality.
Direct Reports: Hourly Personnel
Dimensions of Position: The Group Leader will directly supervise hourly production employees in a production shift. Metrics are data driven relating to manufactured and invoiced sales.

Qualifications: 4-year degree or an equivalent combination of a experience. 5S and Lean manufacturing experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
