Job summary

Brickeye seeks a product designer to shape experiences across hardware and software, from field devices to the analytics platform.

You will translate complex data into intuitive interfaces for non-technical users, collaborate with engineers, and influence the hardware enclosure and design system. The role blends physical product design with software UI in a fast-paced startup setting.

Qualifications

2+ years of product design experience.
Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering in Industrial Design/Systems/Mechanical, or related field — or equivalent experience.
A portfolio showing strong software and industrial design work.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end design process from discovery to production-ready UI.
Translate complex data and real-time alerts into intuitive experiences for non-technical users in the field.
Collaborate with engineering across disciplines to ship designs that are beautiful and buildable.
Shape the industrial design of hardware enclosures, form factor, materials, and finish.
Build a cohesive design system that scales across the product suite.
Interview users, synthesize feedback, and define what should be built next.
Leverage AI tools to prototype faster and raise the bar on possibilities.
