Job summary

Brickeye seeks a product designer to shape experiences across hardware and software, from field devices to the analytics platform.

You will translate complex data into intuitive interfaces for non-technical users, collaborate with engineers, and influence the hardware enclosure and design system. The role blends physical product design with software UI in a fast-paced startup setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of product design experience.
• Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering in Industrial Design/Systems/Mechanical, or related field — or equivalent experience.
• A portfolio showing strong software and industrial design work.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design process from discovery to production-ready UI.
• Translate complex data and real-time alerts into intuitive experiences for non-technical users in the field.
• Collaborate with engineering across disciplines to ship designs that are beautiful and buildable.
• Shape the industrial design of hardware enclosures, form factor, materials, and finish.
• Build a cohesive design system that scales across the product suite.
• Interview users, synthesize feedback, and define what should be built next.
• Leverage AI tools to prototype faster and raise the bar on possibilities.
