Job summary

Uniiited is seeking a Sales Engineer to be the primary technical sales resource for controls and instrumentation in heat treatment markets, including carbon/CP controllers, oxygen probes, and flow meters. The role is based in Oak Creek, WI and requires 50–75% travel, with relocation assistance available for moving to the Milwaukee area.

You will develop engineered proposals, support OEMs and integrators, deliver demonstrations and ROI analyses, and collaborate with engineering and service teams

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering background with sensors, probes, and control components.
• 5+ years of technical sales or application engineering in industrial automation or heat treating.
• Experience preparing quotes, technical proposals, and engineered system solutions.
• Hands-on with PLC, HMI, SCADA, oxygen probes, flow meters, and closed-loop control.
• Ability to interpret specifications, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and RFQs.
• Personable communicator who builds strong customer relationships.
• Located in or willing to relocate to Milwaukee area.
• Travel 50–75%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical sales resource for controllers, probes, meters, and related instrumentation.
• Develop and deliver engineered sales proposals for furnace control, automation upgrades, and system modernization.
• Support customers with technical guidance, product selection, and solution configurations.
• Conduct site visits, collect data, troubleshoot, and recommend upgrades.
• Prepare demos, technical presentations, ROI analyses, and competitive comparisons.
• Assist with quoting accuracy by identifying needs and costs, and following internal guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Technical Sales Manager and Sales Division on strategy.
• Coordinate with engineering, service, aftermarket, and project teams for accurate scopes and execution.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and pursue new opportunities.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, trainings, and seminars.
• Track opportunities, pipeline status, and metrics in Salesforce CRM.
