Job summary
Graphic Packaging International, LLC is seeking a Process Engineer in Macon, GA to design and optimize production processes for efficient mass production. Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related field or equivalent manufacturing experience
- 1-3 years experience in an industrial maintenance organization; paper industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of DCS and PLC concepts and application
- Demonstrated leadership and strong interpersonal skills
- Proactive problem solving and ability to review/produce documentation for control systems
Responsibilities
- Support daily and breakdown maintenance for DCS/QCS/PLC systems and associated I/O, HMI, and field devices
- Provide process control engineering resources for capital projects
- Lead software upgrades to mill DCS systems
- Develop maintenance and troubleshooting procedures for control systems
- Ensure safety and reliability of production processes and regulatory compliance
