Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Electrical Installation Lead – Power Distribution & Infrastructure to drive electrical power system installations for automation and material handling equipment across multiple fulfillment center sites. You will lead field crews, manage heavy wire pulls, and ensure proper conduit routing, grounding, and panel placement in accordance with engineering drawings and NEC/NFPA standards.

The role reports to the Site Deployment Manager and requires travel up to 50% domestically;

Qualifications

Experience in engineering including a supervisory role.
Experience in fast-paced, automated industrial environments.
5+ years in industrial electrical installation or related field.
Experience leading electrical installation crews or contractors.
Experience reading electrical drawings (one-line diagrams, panel schedules).
Knowledge of NEC/NFPA compliance in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage electrical installation crews focused on power distribution for MHE systems.
Oversee conduit/raceway installation from MDPs to sub-panels and equipment locations.
Manage heavy wire pulling (480V 3-phase) with proper sizing and termination.
Direct control panel mounting and ensure proper clearance and accessibility.
Oversee cable tray, junction boxes, pull boxes, and wireways installations.
Ensure all power distribution work complies with NEC/NFPA and Amazon standards.
