Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Electrical Installation Lead – Power Distribution & Infrastructure to drive installation of electrical power systems for automation and material handling equipment across North American sites. You will manage field crews, oversee heavy wire pulls, conduit and raceway, and control panel placement, ensuring NEC/NFPA compliance and alignment with schedule.

Qualifications

Experience in engineering including a supervisory role managing people.
Experience in a fast-paced, automated, industrial, logistics, production or manufacturing environment.
5+ years of experience in industrial electrical installation, controls installation, automation deployment, or a similar technical environment.
Experience leading or supervising electrical device installation crews, controls technicians, or field execution teams.
Experience reading and interpreting device layout drawings, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, and control panel drawings.
Experience with low-voltage control systems including 24VDC circuits, field devices, sensors, VFDs, and industrial communication networks.
Ability to travel up to 50% domestically; travel may exceed 50% in some instances with short notice.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

Lead electrical installation crews for power distribution infrastructure across North American facilities.
Oversee conduit and raceway installation from MDPs to sub-panels, disconnects, and equipment locations.
Manage heavy wire pulling including 480V 3-phase feeders with proper sizing, labeling, and termination.
Direct control panel placement and mounting at designated locations per engineering drawings.
Oversee installation of cable tray systems, junction boxes, pull boxes, and wireways.
Manage installation of disconnects, motor starters, overloads, and related power distribution components.
Direct grounding system installation and bonding connections per NEC requirements.
Ensure proper wire terminations with correct torque values, lugging, and labeling at all connection points.
Oversee cable management including wire bundling, cable supports, strain relief, and routing compliance.
