Job summary

Everus Construction Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced pipefitter/foreman in Elm City, NC to oversee day-to-day field activities and lead a crew of up to five. You will measure, cut, solder, braze and install various piping systems while coordinating materials and ensuring jobsite safety on industrial/commercial projects.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years in pipe fitting, understands blueprints, and can communicate with general contractors and inspectors to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in pipe fitting or plumbing, preferably in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Experience leading crew safety and project coordination with GC's, inspectors, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Superintendent and manage day-to-day field activities.
• Measure, cut, and install pipe (PVC, Copper, Brass, CS) with minimal instruction.
• Solder, braze, thread, groove, cut with torch, and install hangers for piping.
• Lead a crew of up to five and ensure safety compliance.
• Coordinate material orders five+ days in advance and liaise with PMs and GCs.
• Perform field fabrication and test pipe systems for safety and function.
