Job summary

SE&M Constructors, LLC is seeking a Field Foreman to lead pipe fitting and plumbing projects in North Carolina. You will work under the Superintendent, manage day-to-day field activities, and ensure projects progress safely and on schedule.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience, OSHA 30 certification, and proven ability to coordinate with general contractors, inspectors and clients while ordering materials five days in advance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a field crew in pipe fitting or plumbing.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydronic piping systems and pipe sizing (GPM).
• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings, coordinate with GC/inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a crew of up to five in field activities.
• Measure, cut, and install pipes (PVC, Copper, Brass, CS).
• Solder, braze, thread, groove, torch cut, and hangers installation.
• Repair leaks and test pipe systems for safety and function.
• Read drawings to cut, assemble, and install pipes.
• Coordinate materials orders; maintain safety compliance and toolbox talks.
• Communicate with General Contractors, inspectors, and clients.
• Operate aerial platforms and ensure PPE/OSHA adherence.
