Job summary

Everus Construction Group, Inc. is seeking an industrial plumber to install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in industrial settings, including water, waste, chemicals, or gases. Systems include piping, valves, fittings, fixtures, and equipment.

You will read blueprints, interpret specifications, and ensure compliance with NC Plumbing Codes while supervising plumbing helpers and maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of experience in industrial plumbing required.
• Journeyman Level Tradesmen Certification preferred.
• Certification in Med-Gas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair plumbing systems carrying fluids in industrial settings.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications to plan layouts.
• Lay out, install, and maintain underground and above-ground pipe systems and supports.
• Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, trenchers, skid steers) after training.
• Use pipe cutters, threading machines, compression tools, press tools, and bending tools to join pipes.
• Install and connect plumbing fixtures (sinks, toilets, water heaters).
• Diagnose and repair leaks, blockages, or pressure issues in piping systems.
• Lead and instruct plumbing helpers, mechanics, and fitters under supervision.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and efficiency.
