Job summary

100Hires, Inc. in Waco, GA is seeking an Electrical/Controls Technician to diagnose and repair PLC-controlled machinery on a fast-paced production line. You’ll connect to PLCs via Ethernet or wireless, review logic, replace drives, and implement minor PLC tweaks to restore uptime.

Work is hands-on, mostly Siemens (about 80%) with occasional Allen-Bradley. You’ll collaborate with maintenance to keep equipment running, prioritizing breakdown calls and following through on work orders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing PLC-controlled equipment in an industrial setting.
• Ability to connect to PLCs via Ethernet or wireless and read PLC logic.
• Experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs is essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond to electrical and controls breakdowns and restore uptime.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, review logic, and identify root causes.
• Diagnose and repair control circuits and configure drives/VFDs as needed.
• Make minor PLC logic tweaks to resolve issues and coordinate with maintenance.
