Keep Production Moving in Carrollton, GAStep into a large industrial manufacturing environment where your expertise in electrical systems, controls, and PLC-driven machinery keeps lines running. As an experienced Electrical Technician, you’ll be the first call when equipment goes down—laptop in hand, connecting to PLCs, tracing logic, and restoring uptime.A Day in the LifeThe line stops. You arrive, connect via Ethernet or wireless, open the existing PLC program, and trace logic to pinpoint the fault. You confirm the issue in the control circuit, swap and configure a drive, or make a minor logic tweak, and production is back online. Then you coordinate with the shift supervisor to prioritize the next call or open work order.What You’ll OwnRapid response to electrical and controls-related breakdowns across the facilityDirect PLC connections via laptop (Ethernet or wireless) to diagnose issuesTroubleshooting of Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs (with approximately 80% of systems being Siemens)Reviewing PLC logic to identify root causes and verify correctionsHands-on control circuit troubleshooting to isolate failuresReplacing drives/VFDs and downloading/configuring parameters for replacementsImplementing minor PLC logic changes when required for troubleshootingPartnering with the shift supervisor to triage breakdowns and manage work ordersOwning assigned equipment and work orders, solving problems independentlyCollaborating closely with the maintenance team to maintain reliable productionRole FocusThis position is 100% electrical/PLC-focused.
