Go McPherson is seeking an experienced electrical technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical and electronic equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in electrical troubleshooting and PLC programming.
The position requires adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work independently. A valid Kansas Class C driver’s license is required, along with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsible for all electrical diagnosis and repair on the given shift, including maintenance, service and repair of electrical and electronic equipment in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. Ideal candidate will have experience in PLC programming using ladder logic and troubleshooting electrical/electronic circuits to the component level. Must be able to work self‑guided, prioritize jobs, and communicate status and estimated repair times.
The employee must frequently stand, walk, use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; occasionally sit. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 40‑50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock; wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, extreme heat, vibration, and high, precarious places. Noise level is usually loud.
