Job summary

Blue Box Talent is seeking an Electrical Technician for an industrial automation company in Michigan. The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to support the building, installation, and commissioning of our products.

Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control systems; diagnosing issues to minimize downtime; programming, testing, and debugging PLCs and HMIs; collaborating to improve products; and ensuring

Qualifications

3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in industrial settings.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
Knowledge of electrical control systems including PLCs and HMIs.
Experience with Allen-Bradley programming (RSLogix 500, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View) and Siemens (TIA Portal) preferred.
Experience troubleshooting AC/DC motors, drives, and related components.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems and components for industrial equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical control issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure equipment and machinery operate safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams to develop and implement electrical designs and schematics.
Program, test, and debug PLCs and HMIs for industrial equipment.
Collaborate with team members to improve existing products and develop new products.
Maintain records of work performed and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
