Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to ensure reliable operation of highly automated manufacturing equipment in Hastings or Caledonia, Michigan. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC systems, and support rapid response to equipment issues.

Qualifications

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, electro-mechanical equipment, and industrial automation.
Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.
Knowledge of PLCs and industrial control systems.
Journeyman machine repair certification preferred.
Ability to diagnose equipment failures and perform root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

Ensure equipment and automated production systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC-related issues.
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical components including motors, relays, drives, and PLCs.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to assist with fault diagnosis and repairs.
Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and complete work orders.
Support upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
