Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a Plant Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day wastewater treatment shift activities and lead the O&M staff to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-efficient plant operations.

The role requires a NYS 3A wastewater certification and 5+ years in plant operations, with strong leadership, data handling, and coordination skills. On-site work at the NY plant with standard shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong process control knowledge and hands-on leadership in plant operations.
• Experience with wastewater treatment and regulatory compliance is required.
• Must have NYS 3A/License or ability to be delegated as Operator in Charge.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day plant shift operations and staff performance.
• Coordinate with Engineering and contractors on projects.
• Lead safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance across all operations.
• Maintain shift documentation and data entry in plant systems.
• Respond to alarms and emergencies, directing corrective actions.
