Athens Services invites you to join our team as a Plant Maintenance Technician, reporting to the Maintenance Manager and Supervisor to keep our industrial machinery and MRF facility running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of maintenance experience, is bilingual (English/Spanish), and demonstrates leadership and safety-program know-how; proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and the ability to learn our internal maintenance software is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years maintenance experience and/or support of maintenance department.
• Bilingual English/Spanish.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; ability to learn internal maintenance software quickly.
• Experience implementing safety programs and processes.
• Leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance department workload prioritization for safety and operations.
• Audit processes to ensure quality inspections/repairs and document repairs.
• Maintain parts inventory and ensure tool/equipment readiness.
• Coach and mentor maintenance staff to promote a positive work environment.
• Promote use of technology and information systems to improve shop performance.
