Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to install, troubleshoot, clean, inspect, and maintain facility equipment in a safe and professional manner. The role includes responding to off-hours emergencies, performing preventive maintenance, and operating forklifts and other mobile equipment throughout the site.

Preferred candidates have a High School diploma or GED, tech schooling experience, and 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience with welding proficiency a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Technical schooling or training preferred
• 3–5 years mechanical maintenance experience preferred
• Experience with welding and metal fabrication a plus

Responsibilities

• Initiate and complete work-orders and requisitions, documenting critical information
• Operate and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs around the facility
• Use CMMS software (Tabware) to manage maintenance tasks
• Operate mobile equipment (forklifts, manlifts, skid steers) and ensure safety procedures
• Identify and repair safety hazards and ensure PPE is worn as required
• Read and interpret maintenance instructions, lockout/tagout procedures, and safety rules
• Maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers
