Job summary

Cogentanalytics is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee all daily operations of a heavy industrial manufacturing facility in the United States. You will drive production efficiency, manage site budgets, ensure OSHA and environmental compliance, and lead a multi-disciplinary team including field service teams.

This role requires 5+ years in operations management within mineral processing, mining, aggregates, or cement manufacturing, plus a technical engineering degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations management experience in heavy industrial settings (mineral processing, mining, aggregates, or cement).
• Technical degree in Mining, Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental permitting.
• Experience with heavy industrial equipment, conveyors, kilns, and packaging systems.
• Ability to work at heights up to 200 feet with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily production activities to meet output targets and schedules.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and environmental permits.
• Oversee maintenance programs for heavy equipment.
• Recruit, train, and manage production supervisors and technicians.
• Develop and manage OpEx and CapEx with the Operations Manager.
• Ensure mineral outputs meet client tolerances.
• Coordinate labor allocation with customer delivery requirements.
