Job summary

Cogent Talent Solutions is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee all daily operations of a mineral processing facility, including input, processing, screening, packaging and shipping. You will drive production efficiency, manage site budgets, ensure OSHA and environmental compliance, and lead a multi-disciplinary team of technicians and laborers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations management in heavy industrial mineral processing or cement manufacturing.
• Technical degree in Mining, Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
• Practical OSHA knowledge and environmental permitting experience.
• Hands-on mechanical/electrical trade experience; comfortable at heights with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily production to meet output targets and delivery schedules.
• Enforce OSHA and environmental compliance.
• Oversee maintenance programs for heavy equipment (conveyors, kilns, packaging, transport).
• Recruit, train, and manage production supervisors and technicians.
• Develop and manage OpEx and CapEx budgets with the Ops Manager.
• Ensure mineral outputs meet client tolerances.
