Job summary

General Motors in Detroit's Factory Zero site is seeking a ME & Facilities Business Planner to support the Functional Leader in planning and execution of the business, including staff meetings and special assignments. This onsite role requires adaptability across shifts and strong analytics.

You will help manage the portfolio, ILM for the plant, coordinate Additive Manufacturing activities, prepare business cases, and deliver management-ready presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in a business planning capacity.
• Understanding of manufacturing controls and lean principles.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Ability to work across all three shifts and overtime as needed.
• Experience with data analysis to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support the Functional Leader in business planning and staff coordination.
• Assist with portfolio and business planning processes and SOT schedules.
• Support Information Life Cycle Management (ILM) for the plant.
• Oversee Additive Manufacturing operations coordination.
• Monitor projects, maintain business cases and benefits timelines.
• Prepare presentations for management and assist with special assignments.
